A New Look for WorkSafe Group — and a Simpler Way to Book a Course

Quick answer: WorkSafe Group is the new brand identity for WorkSafe Ireland — same team, same SOLAS-registered courses, same prices. What is new is the navy and safety-orange identity rolling out page by page, and a booking journey that now shows your basket on phones and tablets and puts every live course date on one page.

WorkSafe Group new brand identity and streamlined three-step course booking on mobile — navy and orange infographic

Published 3 September 2026 by the WorkSafe Ireland team.

WorkSafe Group is how WorkSafe Ireland now presents itself, and — more importantly — making it easier to book a course without fighting the website. This post sets out what is changing, what is not, and what has already been done to the booking journey. Where work is still in progress we say so rather than announcing it as finished.

WorkSafe Group at a glance

WorkSafe Group is the brand name for WorkSafe Ireland. The company, the tutors, the SOLAS-registered courses and the prices are unchanged — the WorkSafe Ireland rebrand changes only the name and the look, and the booking journey is being simplified alongside them.

Nothing you have already booked with WorkSafe Ireland is affected by the WorkSafe Group name, and any certificate or SOLAS card you hold stays exactly as issued by the awarding body.

The new WorkSafe Group look

The WorkSafe Group identity uses a navy and safety-orange palette — navy for authority and orange for the safety cue that reads instantly on a site — with charcoal and soft grey for text and backgrounds. The shield-and-hard-hat mark stays as the core symbol. You will see the WorkSafe Group palette on new pages first, and across the rest of the site as pages are updated one at a time.

We are deliberately not flipping the whole site overnight. Every page on this website carries course information that people rely on to turn up in the right place on the right morning. Rolling the new look out page by page, checking each one after it changes, is slower and considerably safer than a big-bang switch.

What is not changing under WorkSafe Group

  • The team, the trainers and the courses
  • SOLAS, PHECC and IOSH certification — those are issued by the awarding bodies, not by us
  • Prices: Safe Pass €175.00, Manual Handling €50.00, three-day First Aid Responder €325.00
  • Venues: Ashdown Park Hotel, Gorey, Co. Wexford (Y25 V1D6) and Uppercross Enterprises, Belgard Road, Tallaght, Dublin 24 (D24 X8CT)
  • Contact: info@worksafe.ie and 053 94 81445
  • Any booking you have already made

WorkSafe Group booking: what has already improved

The honest summary of the old WorkSafe Group booking experience on a phone was that it was hard to tell what state your booking was in. Two concrete changes are already live:

The basket is now visible on phones and tablets

The basket icon previously appeared only on desktop screens. On a phone you could add a course and then have no visible way back to the basket. The basket now sits in the header on phones and tablets with the item count on it, sized as a proper tap target.

One page for every date

Every course page and every call-to-action across the site now points at a single live schedule: the upcoming courses page. Both venues, every course, one list, with prices and times as published. No more guessing which page has the current dates.

What we are still working on

We would rather list this plainly than let you find it yourself:

  • Tightening the checkout on small screens so a multi-seat booking is easier to review before paying
  • Making the state of a part-finished booking clearer, so a stale message can never contradict what is actually in your basket
  • Continuing the visual rollout of the new palette page by page across the site

If you hit something awkward while booking with WorkSafe Group, tell us what you were doing when it happened. That feedback is what put the basket icon on phones.

Booking a course in three steps

  1. Open the upcoming courses page and pick a date with places left.
  2. Choose how many places you need and check out. Bring photo ID and your PPS number on the day.
  3. Prefer to talk to a person, or booking for a group? Email info@worksafe.ie or call 053 94 81445.

WorkSafe Group rebrand and booking — your questions

Is WorkSafe Group the same company as WorkSafe Ireland?

Yes. Same team, same trainers, same SOLAS-registered courses, same phone number and email. WorkSafe Group is the new brand identity being rolled out across our materials — nothing about your booking, your certificate or your course changes because of it.

Do I need to rebook a course I have already booked?

No. Existing bookings, dates and confirmations are unaffected. If you have a confirmation email, you are on the course.

Are certificates and Safe Pass cards affected?

No. Safe Pass registration cards are issued by SOLAS against your PPS number and are unaffected by any change to our branding. PHECC and IOSH certification is likewise issued by those bodies.

What has changed about booking on a phone?

The basket is now visible in the header on phones and tablets, so you can see what is in your basket and get to it without hunting for it. Previously the basket icon only appeared on desktop, which made it easy to lose track of a booking mid-way through on a phone.

Where do I find all the course dates?

Every live date for both venues is on one page: the upcoming courses page at https://worksafe.ie/upcoming-courses-safe-pass-manual-handling-first-aid/. That is the single source of truth for dates, venues and prices.

Can I still book several people on one course?

Yes. Choose the number of places you need on the course you want before checking out. If you are booking a larger group, or you want the tutor to come to your own premises, email us with your numbers instead and we will arrange an on-site date.

Have prices changed with the rebrand?

No. Prices are exactly as published on the live calendar — Safe Pass €175.00, Manual Handling €50.00, three-day First Aid Responder €325.00. A rebrand is not a price change.

Who do I contact if something goes wrong during a booking?

Email info@worksafe.ie or call 053 94 81445. If you hit a problem on the site, telling us what you were doing when it happened genuinely helps — several of the improvements described here came from customers reporting exactly that.
