Established in 2001 by Declan Gibney, Chartered Fellow and Member of Council of IOSH (www.iosh.com) , Synergy Risk Management Limited, incorporating Work Safe Ireland and Pulse Medical (www.pulsemedical.ie), are proud to be the leading providers of health and safety consultancy and training services in Ireland. Our team of Chartered Safety and Health Consultants, Consultant Fire Engineers, Ergonomists and Legal Experts are available to offer your business advice and guidance on all health and safety management matters no matter how small or large your organisation. We have a long and proud involvement in health and safety management going back to 1951 (that's over 70 years!!). John Gibney, then City Fire Officer with Dublin Fire Brigade started supplying and servicing fire extinguishers in the city and training was soon added to the service. Twins Terry and Michael Gibney joined their father in the business and developed “Fire and Safety Consultant Services” before going on to form the “National Industrial Fire and Safety Training Company” (NIFAST) in 1987. 3 generations later, Synergy Risk Management started trading in late 2001 and expanded more recently to include Worksafe Ireland and Pulse Medical.

To some in business, health and safety management is a cost with no return; to us it’s a culture that develops from the top and says "if the work can't be done safely, it can't be done at all".
